How to read this page
How it’s measured. S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 stocks. Each week, every stock is ranked by how much it beat the S&P 500; bottom half means it trailed most stocks that week.
Sources. Daily prices from Financial Modeling Prep.
Persistence ranks every stock by how many of the last 52 weeks it spent in the bottom half of the market, from 0 to 100.
In our research, buying stocks because they have fallen has not paid on its own, even when the business looked sound. A long slide describes the past year; it is not a forecast.
